”1907
Ishimatsu Ohara establishes Ohara Chuzosho (Foundry) for the purpose of casting drilling equipment components.
”1924
Ohara Chukosho is established with a machining plant and an assembly plant and it begins production of complete machines.
”1932
Ohara receives an order of mud pumps from Nippon Oil Co., Ltd. and forms the basis of business that focuses on oil drilling equipments.
”1940
Ohara Tekkosho Ltd. is established and Fujimatsu Ohara assumes the representative executive.
”1944
Plate work/welding plant and forge plant are built and the integrated system of production for ironworks is established.
Takahama plant is closed due to fire during the war, and Tokyo branch is moved to Yushima, Tokyo.
”1945
Ohara Tekkosho is reorganized to Ohara Corporation.
Ohara sees the importance of domestic resources development and begins development of water gate equipments for irrigation and hydroelectric power generation.

Electricity department is newly created which is designed for electrical work for transformation and transmission.

Development and sales of slime pumps for transporting mine slime, dust coal and heavy oil are launched.

Development of snow vehicles commissioned by Niigata Prefecture is launched and the first prototype gFubukih is completed.

Hokkaido office is established with the expansion of sales of snow vehicles as heavy-snow countermeasures by Economic Planning Agency.
Kurojo plant is constructed to expand plate work/welding plant.
Newly developed compact snow vehicle is adopted by 9th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition.

A self-propelled hydraulic dust collector for intake dam of power plant is developed and delivered.

A serge absorber and a hydrant pit for aircraft refueling facilities are developed and delivered.
Technical partnership with Schleuniger (Swiss) is entered into, and production of Ratrac groomers is launched.

Technical partnership with National Supply Company (the U.S.) is entered into, and production and sales of the triplex slush pump for oil drilling start in Japan.

Dispatch of an employee as a member of a wintering party of the Japanese Antarctic expedition party begins.

Welding technology for hydraulic steel pipes for power plant is established.

Production and sales of a hot spring drilling rig begins.

A large-size snow vehicle for Antarctic observation that can be used in temperatures up to minus 90 degrees is completed and delivered.

FRP plant is constructed for production of new snow groomers.
The concept machine DL270 is completed and it wins Japanfs Good Design Award and the award from the Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency.

A water treatment system with a wire mesh screen for irrigation is developed and sold.

A screw-press sludge dehydrator is developed.

Technical partnership with Zaugg (Swiss) is entered into, and Ohara begins the import and sale of half-pipe grooming attachments.

License agreement with West Salem Machinery Co. (the U.S) for recycling machines is entered into, and production and sales start.

License agreement with Aztec SAS (France) is entered into and Aztec begins production of the snow groomers in France.
