第60次南極地域観測越冬隊の一員として古見隊員が南極に向け出発しました。
11月25日に成田空港を出発し、豪州・フリーマントル港で南極観測船、「しらせ」に乗船します。その後、昭和基地に向かい、再来年の春まで越冬の予定です。
古見隊員は今回４度目の越冬となり、雪上車をはじめとする各種機械・設備の整備を主に担当します。

隊員の皆さんのご無事とともに、立派な成果を挙げられることを祈念いたします。
