自治体が運営する石川県と埼玉県の下水処理場で「民間資金活用による社会資本整備(ＰＦＩ)」事業の基本協定を結びました。
下水処理場で発生するメタンを主体とした「下水消化ガス」を燃焼させるバイオガス発電機を設置し、発電事業を行います。
