大原鉄工所（本社・新潟県長岡市、大原興人社長、TEL0258・24・2350）は長岡技術科学大学（環境・建設系、姫野准教授）と共同で、下水処理場で発生する消化ガスを燃料に発電する設備を開発し、実用化のめどが立った。
